Will excessive internal resistance of L1022 battery affect the performance of L1022 battery?
Why is the internal resistance of L1022 battery too large? How internal resistance affects the performance of L1022 battery Due to the rapid development of technology, the scope and role of L1022 battery have long been self-evident, but lithium battery accidents have always been a problem in daily life. The troubles encountered by the editor are endless and sometimes disturb us. For this reason, the editor has specially formulated an analysis and solution for the excessive internal resistance of L1022 battery to provide convenience for everyone.
Internal resistance is one of the important indicators for evaluating the performance of L1022 battery. The internal resistance test of L1022 battery includes AC internal resistance and DC internal resistance. For individual cells, the evaluation is usually based on AC internal resistance, often referred to as resistance internal resistance.
However, when using large lithium battery packs (such as the power supply system of electric vehicles), it is impossible or inconvenient to directly test the AC internal resistance due to the limitations of the test equipment, and the characteristics of the battery pack are usually evaluated as DC internal resistance. In practical applications, DC internal resistance is also used to evaluate battery life, predict life, evaluate system SOC, output/input functions, etc.
Analysis of the causes of excessive internal resistance of L1022 battery
Step 1
(1) The conductivity of the anode component is too low (the conductivity between materials is very poor because the conductivity of lithium cobalt itself is very low)
(2) Too much binder is used for the anode component (the binder is usually a polymeric material with strong insulating properties)
(3) The negative electrode component has too much binder (the binder is usually a polymeric material and has strong insulating properties)
(4) Uneven dispersion of ingredients
(5) The binder solvent is incomplete during synthesis (cannot be completely dissolved in NMP and water)
(6) The density of the coating slurry surface is too large (large capacity ion migration distance)
(7) The compression density of L1022 battery is too large and the rollers are too compact. (Excessive rolling, damaging some active material structures)
(8) The positive electrode lug is not welded correctly and has a weak weld seam
(9) The welding or riveting of the lugs is not firm, and there is actually welding and desoldering.
(10) The winding is not strong and the winding core is loose (the distance between the positive and negative poles increases)
(11) Anode welding between anode lug and shell
(12) The welding of cathode and pole is not firm

(1) The cathode material has high resistance (thermal conductivity such as lithium iron phosphate)
(2) Influence of separator material (separator thickness, small porosity, small pore size)
(3) Influence of lithium battery electrolyte materials (low conductivity, high viscosity)
