To prevent danger, at the beginning of rapid heat generation temperature (120-140 ℃), the thermoplastic membrane melts, the micropores close, and becomes an insulator, preventing electrolyte from passing through, thus achieving the purpose of interrupting current.

  ⑤ From the perspective of lithium batteries, they should be able to be fully immersed in organic electrolytes and maintain a high degree of immersion during repeated charging and discharging processes.

  The commonly used separator material in batteries is usually a microporous membrane made of cellulose or woven fabric or synthetic resin. Lithium ion batteries generally use high-strength, thin-film polyolefin based porous membranes, commonly used membranes include polypropylene (PP) and polyethylene (PE) microporous membranes, as well as copolymers of propylene and ethylene, and polyethylene homopolymers.
