Working principle of R03 Carbon battery
R03 Carbon battery are secondary batteries (rechargeable batteries) that rely heavily on the movement of lithium ions between the positive and negative electrodes to work. During the charge and discharge process, Li+ is embedded and de-embedded between the two electrodes: during charging, Li+ is de-embedded from the positive electrode and embedded in the negative electrode through the electrolyte, and the negative electrode is in a lithium-rich state; the opposite is true during discharge.
R03 Carbon battery use carbon materials as negative electrodes and lithium-containing compounds as positive electrodes. There is no metallic lithium, only lithium ions. This is a lithium-ion battery. R03 Carbon battery refer to the general term for batteries with lithium ion embedded compounds as positive electrode materials. The charge and discharge process of R03 Carbon battery is the embedding and de-embedding process of lithium ions. During the embedding and de-embedding process of lithium ions, the embedding and de-embedding of equivalent electrons to lithium ions is also accompanied. During the charge and discharge process, lithium ions are embedded/de-embedded and inserted/de-embedded between the positive and negative electrodes, which is figuratively called a rocking chair battery.

Advantages of R03 Carbon battery
1. Long cycle life: When R03 Carbon battery are charged and discharged at a rate of 1C, their cycle life is greater than or equal to 500 times, and the capacity at the 500th time is greater than 70% of the nominal capacity. Even if lead-acid batteries are discharged at 0.5C and charged at 0.15C, their cycle life is less than or equal to 350 times, and their capacity is less than or equal to 60%.
2. Good low-temperature discharge performance: R03 Carbon battery can work normally at -25 degrees, and their capacity can reach 70% of the nominal capacity, while lead-acid batteries can only work at 50% of their capacity at -10 degrees and cannot work normally at -25 degrees.
3. Strong charge retention ability: After the fully charged lithium-ion battery pack is placed for two months, its capacity is greater than or equal to 80%, while the lead-acid battery is only 40%-50% of the nominal capacity after two months.
4. Strong running capacity. Since the weight of the lithium-ion battery pack is only 30% of that of the lead-acid battery, the lithium-ion battery has a strong running capacity at the same voltage and capacity.
5. High specific energy: Since the volume of the lithium-ion battery is only 30% of that of the lead-acid battery, the energy reserve of the lithium-ion battery is larger than that of the lead-acid battery when the same space is used.
6. Wide operating temperature range: The lithium-ion battery can work in the range of -25 degrees to 55 degrees, while the lead-acid battery can only work in the range of 10 degrees to 40 degrees.
7. Short charging time: Since the lithium-ion battery has the characteristic of being able to be charged with a large current, the charging time is only 4-5 hours, while the lead-acid battery takes 8 to 10 hours.
8. High green environmental protection performance: Compared with the lead-acid battery, which has a large amount of heavy metal lead that is harmful to the human body and the environment, the lithium-ion battery is a highly environmentally friendly product.
9. Can discharge with a large current: The capacity of the lithium-ion battery is only 60% of the rated capacity when it is discharged with a large current at a rate of 1C.
10. High current discharge does not affect cycle life: When R03 Carbon battery are discharged at a high current rate of 1.5C, their cycle life has no effect. However, when lead-acid batteries are discharged at a high current rate of 1.5C, their cycle life is only 30%-40% of the nominal cycle life.
