Battery protection board, as the name suggests, the lithium battery protection board is mainly an integrated circuit board that protects rechargeable (generally lithium batteries). The reason why lithium battery (rechargeable type) needs protection is determined by its own characteristics. Since the material of the lithium battery itself determines that it cannot be overcharged, overdischarged, overcurrent, short-circuited or charged and discharged at ultra-high temperatures, the lithium battery component will always be accompanied by a protection board with a sampling resistor and a current fuse.
Working process of lithium iron phosphate battery pack protection board:
When the cell voltage is between 2.5V and 4.3V, both pins 1 and 3 of DW01 output high level (equal to the supply voltage), and the voltage of the second pin is 0V. At this time, the voltage of pins 1 and 3 of DW01 will be added to pins 5 and 4 of 8205A respectively. The two electronic switches in 8205A are in a conductive state because their G pole is connected to the voltage from DW01, that is, Both electronic switches are on. How to repair the lithium battery pack protection board?
First check the parameters of the lithium iron phosphate battery pack: the normal range is 2.8~4.25, and the lithium iron battery is 2.5~3.65V.
1. It may be due to voltage overcharge, over-discharge, over-current, short circuit, or over-temperature.
2. Use a multimeter to check whether the charging and discharging MOS tube is open.
3. If the lithium battery pack protection board is equipped with LED and cannot be charged or discharged, the LED will flash for 0.5 seconds and an alarm will sound.
4. If the lithium battery protection board is attached to the host computer, you can connect to the host computer to check the protection status.
5. The lithium battery protection board is equipped with a weak point switch. Please check whether the weak point switch is turned on.
