Usually, a complete fuel cell power generation system consists of a cell stack, a fuel supply system, an air supply system, a cooling system, a power electronic converter, a protection and control and instrumentation system. The current obstacle to the large-scale application of button cell battery cr2025 is the high cost, and it will take some time to compete with conventional power generation methods in terms of economy. The key technology of button cell battery cr2025 involves projects related to commercialization such as battery performance, life, large-scale, price, etc., and mainly involves new electrolyte materials and catalysts. The loss and corrosion leakage of liquid electrolytes in molten carbonate cells (MCFCs) under high temperature conditions reduce the life of the battery, limiting the large-scale and practical application of MCFCs. It is necessary to solve the corrosion of battery constituent materials; changes in electrode pore structure cause battery performance to decline.

 

Solid oxide button cell battery cr2025 (SOFCs) use solid electrolytes and have high operating temperatures, which have special requirements for constituent materials and their processing. In order to obtain an electrolyte that is chemically stable and dense (gas does not pass through) at high temperatures, Y2O3 is added to zirconium oxide to generate yttrium-stabilized zirconium oxide. In order to reduce the operating temperature, the thickness of the electrolyte film should be reduced as much as possible. Electrolyte films are usually prepared by melt spraying, sintering and electrochemical evaporation coating.

 

The thickness of practical electrolyte membranes is 0.03-0.05 mm. The more advanced ones have reached 0.01 mm. In addition to having sufficient mechanical strength, such thin electrolyte ceramic materials must have a high degree of gas density, otherwise the performance of button cell battery cr2025 will be lost. The fuel electrode uses heat-resistant metal ceramics such as nickel zirconium. Nickel is also used as a catalyst for fuel reforming. The air electrode is in high-temperature oxidation during operation, and it is difficult to use general metals. Platinum has good stability, but it is expensive. To find alternative materials, electronic conductive ceramics can be used. In order to reduce the operating temperature, another important research direction is to find low-temperature proton conductive electrolytes. If the operating temperature can be reduced to below 700°C, the cost of SOFC can be greatly reduced.
