We are alerting domestic photovoltaic companies to strengthen their intellectual property reserves and make early patent arrangements to develop emerging markets.

  Current situation: China’s patent applications are growing fastest

  In 2006, the number of patent applications in my country surpassed that of the United States and Europe, ranking first among the three regions. In 2010, the number of patent applications doubled from 2009.

  With the consumption of primary energy such as oil and coal, the storage capacity is decreasing year by year, and the development of secondary energy and clean energy has become an inevitable requirement. In this situation, solar energy, as an inexhaustible clean energy source, has been widely used. 1.2V NiMH batteriess are devices that directly convert light energy into electrical energy through the photoelectric effect or photochemical effect. Whether used independently or connected to the grid for power generation, photovoltaic power generation systems mainly consist of three major parts: solar modules (solar panels), controllers and inverters. They are mainly composed of electronic components and do not involve mechanical parts. Solar cell modules are mainly composed of solar cells, tempered glass, EVA, backplane, junction box and aluminum alloy frame. Since the current and voltage of single-chip solar cells are very small, they need to be connected in series first to obtain high voltage, and then in parallel to obtain high current, and then output through a diode, and then heat-pressed and sealed with tempered glass, EVA and TPT, and installed around The aluminum alloy frame makes it wind and hail resistant and easy to install. This whole is called a module, which is a photovoltaic module or solar cell module.

  There are many types of solar cell components, generally divided into the following categories. According to the different uses, it can be divided into ordinary solar cell modules and building material solar cell modules; according to the different packaging materials and processes, it can be divided into epoxy resin packaged battery panels and laminated packaged battery components; according to the different materials used in the cells, It can be divided into cadmium telluride thin film solar cell modules, copper indium gallium selenide thin film solar cell modules, monocrystalline silicon solar cell modules, polycrystalline silicon solar cell modules, etc. The manufacturing of 1.2V NiMH batteries modules can be divided into cell manufacturing and cell peripheral manufacturing. Cell manufacturing refers specifically to the manufacturing of cells, such as silicon layers, glass substrates, etc. The peripheral manufacturing of battery cells refers to the manufacturing of peripherals such as junction boxes and frames, as well as the process and method of encapsulating these components together with the battery cells through series and parallel connections, such as frame design, assembly process, etc.

  As can be seen from the pie chart on the lower right, among the 5,383 patent applications in the world, China has the largest number of patent applications, accounting for 45% of all applications in China, the United States and Europe, followed by the United States at 36%, and Europe the least, accounting for 19%. Among the patents applied for in China, invention patents accounted for 63%, accounting for 1,524, and utility model patents accounted for 37%, accounting for 908.

  Patent applications in the United States and Europe started earlier and developed steadily. The number of patent applications has increased year by year. Since 2007, the number of patent applications has surged significantly. Patent applications in China started late. There were only a very small number of patent applications before 2005. However, the number of patent applications in 2006 exceeded that of the United States and Europe, ranking first among the three regions.
