For example, it is very troublesome to replace the batteries of smart clothing. In addition, promising IoT applications such as medical sensors implanted under the skin are also impossible to replace the batteries. Under the sponsorship of the Wireless Power Consortium and rival organization A4WP, several systems have begun initial mass production, while others are still in the research and development stage.

  In addition, there is another power supply technology that has not yet fully exploited its potential for IoT applications: supercapacitors, which are capacitors with ultra-high power storage capabilities. Although it is generally considered to be a replacement for batteries, existing products suffer from excessive leakage.
