What are the main types of CR2032 battery?
CR2032 battery are mainly divided into four categories: nickel-hydrogen batteries, lead-acid batteries, nickel-cadmium batteries, and lithium-ion batteries. Let's take a look at some of the characteristics of each type of battery:
1. Lead-acid batteries have limited the development of power sources due to their own performance and lead pollution, and are gradually withdrawn from the market;
2. Nickel-cadmium batteries also have pot pollution and serious memory effect, and are basically withdrawn from the power lithium-ion battery market;
3. Nickel-hydrogen batteries are an improvement on nickel-cadmium batteries. The specific energy can reach 60-80Wh/kg, and they have the characteristics of fast charging speed, basically no memory effect, no environmental pollution, and high safety. At present, the processing technology of automotive CR2032 battery is basically mature.
4. At present, nickel-hydrogen batteries dominate the power lithium-ion battery industry, while lithium iron phosphate batteries are in the early stages of industrial development.
5. Nickel-hydrogen batteries have better battery performance (especially safety) and mature manufacturing technology. They currently dominate the batteries of general hybrid electric vehicles (HEVs) in the world.
6. Nickel-hydrogen powered lithium-ion batteries currently dominate. The main reason is that the battery energy of existing hybrid vehicles is only 1-2kWh, which cannot be driven purely by electric vehicles or the pure electric range is less than 3km. High specific energy and energy density, about twice that of nickel-hydrogen batteries, can greatly improve the endurance of electric vehicles · higher power, low self-discharge, no memory effect, these characteristics can improve the convenience of electric vehicles;
The cost of raw materials is low;
There is a lot of room for technology improvement and cost reduction.
Nickel-metal hydride batteries are currently the main choice for hybrid electric vehicle (HEV) batteries due to their mature technology and good safety, but they are difficult to meet the needs of a higher degree of electrification; lithium-ion batteries are the best choice for the next generation of electric vehicle batteries and are expected to replace nickel-metal hydride and become the mainstream of electric vehicle batteries in the next three years or so.
