Analysis of the characteristics of cr2032 3v lithium battery

Based on the different electrolyte materials used in lithium-ion batteries, lithium-ion batteries can be divided into two categories: liquid lithium-ion batteries (lithium ion batteries, referred to as LIb) and cr2032 3v lithium battery (polymer lithium ion batteries, referred to as LIP). The positive and negative electrode materials used in cr2032 3v lithium battery are the same as liquid lithium ions, and the working principles of the batteries are basically the same. The main difference between them lies in the difference in electrolytes. Lithium-ion batteries use liquid electrolytes, while cr2032 3v lithium battery use solid polymer electrolytes instead. This polymer can be dry or colloidal. At present, most of them use polymer colloidal electrolytes.

From the perspective of polymer battery structure, the battery is not only an energy storage component. Due to the presence of a certain resistance inside it, the internal resistance consumes part of the energy during the charging and discharging process, resulting in unnecessary loss of energy. As for the common liquid lithium-ion batteries for laptops, the internal resistance of a single cell is generally around 80 milliohms, and some inferior batteries have an internal resistance of more than 100 milliohms. Most laptop batteries are made up of three to four cells in series. In addition to the influence of factors such as protection circuits and power leads, the internal resistance of conventional liquid lithium-ion batteries will reach three to four hundred milliohms. When the laptop is charging and discharging, the current is as high as about 3A. In this way, about three watts of electricity are consumed in the battery, which accounts for almost 10% of the battery capacity. This is why the battery is prone to heat up when charging and discharging. Such heat will not only cause power loss, but also easily cause battery overheating and shorten its life.

From the perspective of polymer battery use, the use of cr2032 3v lithium battery in notebooks can not only reduce the probability of battery explosion and improve its safety, but also make the notebook thinner and lighter by freely shaping. The internal resistance of the battery cell is only 35 milliohms, which is only about half of that of liquid lithium-ion batteries. This can ensure that the internal resistance of the polymer lithium-ion battery is controlled within 200 milliohms. The internal resistance is halved, and the energy loss and heat generation during the charging and discharging process are also halved. In this way, the improvement of the battery cell material has reduced the overall power consumption of the notebook by nearly 2W, and the energy-saving effect is also quite obvious.

cr2032 3v lithium battery can be divided into three categories:

(1) Solid polymer electrolyte lithium-ion battery. The electrolyte is a mixture of polymer and salt. This battery has low ionic conductivity at room temperature and is suitable for high temperature use.

(2) Gel polymer electrolyte lithium-ion battery. That is, additives such as plasticizers are added to the solid polymer electrolyte to improve the ionic conductivity so that the battery can be used at room temperature.

(3) Lithium-ion battery with polymer positive electrode material. Conductive polymer is used as the positive electrode material, and its specific energy is three times that of the existing lithium-ion battery. It is the latest generation of lithium-ion battery.

Since solid electrolyte is used instead of liquid electrolyte, compared with liquid lithium-ion battery, polymer lithium-ion battery has the advantages of thinness, arbitrary area and arbitrary shape, and will not have safety problems such as leakage and combustion and explosion. Therefore, aluminum-plastic composite film can be used to make battery shell, thereby increasing the specific capacity of the entire battery; polymer lithium-ion battery can also use polymer as positive electrode material, and its mass specific energy will be increased by more than 50% compared with the current liquid lithium-ion battery. In addition, polymer lithium-ion battery has improved working voltage, charge and discharge cycle life and other aspects compared with lithium-ion battery. Based on the above advantages, polymer lithium-ion battery is known as the next generation of lithium-ion battery.
