In terms of high energy density, Shiyan Mengshi's CR2477 battery PACK adopts Mengshi Technology MX18650-29P (220Wh/kg) high-energy battery cell. The PACK module structure is lightweight designed and combined with the application of new materials and new processes. The energy density can reach 155-160Wh/kg. The energy density of the CR2477 battery PACK system in subsequent research and development is expected to be higher than 190Wh/kg.
Shiyan Mengshi chose to use high-energy materials to achieve high-rate charging and discharging of CR2477 battery PACK. By optimizing the design of charging control strategy and equipped with a liquid cooling thermal management system of CR2477 battery PACK, the charging time was effectively shortened and the charging efficiency was improved. Regarding the advantages of high-rate charging and discharging, Wu Cheng took a pure electric car equipped with a 47KWh battery as an example. Its NEDC range is 350KM, equipped with a 145KW motor, and the acceleration from 0 to 50 kilometers is only 3.9 seconds. In fast charging mode, it can be charged more than 80% in 45 minutes.
In terms of high safety, Shiyan Mengshi adopts the battery assembly technology of aluminum wire welding process, and through the liquid cooling design of the CR2477 battery PACK package, the high rate and energy performance of the battery are fully released. "The overcurrent fuse characteristics of the aluminum wire process can ensure that the failure of one or two battery cells will not affect the failure of the entire string of modules. The temperature control management system allows the battery to charge and discharge at the optimal temperature. At the same time, the temperature difference can be controlled within 2°C to ensure that the battery can achieve the most efficient and safe operation and avoid the risk of thermal runaway and poor consistency." Wu Cheng said that the battery cell is connected to the busbar aluminum wire, and the battery cell will not be damaged when the module is disassembled, which is convenient for the recycling and reuse of the battery cell.
It is understood that the cylindrical battery aluminum wire welding CR2477 battery PACK production line built by Shiyan Mengshi in the first phase has now achieved finished product production, with an annual production capacity of 10,000 sets. Wu Cheng said proudly: "While reducing product costs through large-scale and intelligent production, Shiyan Mengshi continues to reduce costs through material innovation. Therefore, compared with similar products, our CR2477 battery PACK products have a very high cost performance."
Behind the development of the CR2477 battery industry, there are also undercurrents. Wu Cheng believes that in the past few years, the influx of capital has brought the CR2477 battery industry a superficial prosperity of "lithium is full of dreams", but in fact the industry competition is extremely cruel. "Since its development, common problems in the industry have slowly emerged: such as the surge in upstream prices, and the continuous pressure on suppliers' purchase prices by new energy vehicle companies after the subsidy reduction." For the future, Wu Cheng said that the industry will face a cruel survival of the fittest.
