Now, after three years of hard work, a Taiwanese research team has finally discovered a completely natural, non-toxic and harmless button battery 2032. Media reports said that after three years of research and development, a team led by professors Hong Feiyi and Lu Chuansheng from the Department of Materials at National Cheng Kung University finally made a "natural mineral button battery 2032."
This kind of mineral button battery 2032 using serpentine as raw material is low-cost, non-toxic and environmentally friendly. More importantly, serpentine can not only be used in the positive electrode, but can also be introduced into the negative electrode after carbonization. Serpentine is the name of a group of silicate minerals (containing magnesium, iron, silicon, etc.), which itself has a small capacitance of 15mAh/g.

The carbonized negative electrode is also more environmentally friendly than the current graphite negative electrode refined from petroleum in the world. Mineral batteries have low cost and environmentally friendly characteristics, and the future development is expected.
