At the Battery Technology Innovation Forum held on the 27th, both the theoretical and industrial circles believed that the development of new energy batteries is the only way for the country to implement the new energy strategy. He Zuoxiu, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, believes that vigorously developing "hydropower + wind power + solar energy + pumped storage power stations" is the only choice to completely and thoroughly solve my country's current energy problems. The battery industry must be developed accordingly, including energy storage batteries, new energy vehicle batteries, etc.

In fact, the domestic new energy battery field has achieved rapid development. According to data from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, in the first half of this year, my country's lithium-ion battery industry (including batteries, positive and negative electrode materials, diaphragms, electrolytes and special equipment, etc.) maintained stable development, with a total output value of nearly 40 billion yuan in the industry, and bright spots in the industrial structure and new technology applications.

Mengshi Technology, a listed company participating in the exhibition, said that lead-acid batteries operate stably and are relatively safe. The industry does not need to worry about the squeeze of lithium-ion batteries at present. The company currently has sufficient orders for lead-acid batteries. Shen Weixin, chairman of Shanghai Haibao Special Power Supply Co., Ltd., believes that after the rectification, the development of the lead-acid battery industry has gradually become reasonable, but the industry still needs to work hard on environmental protection and licensed production. The rapid development of the industry still faces multiple problems.

Putting aside the dispute over battery types, there are multiple technical routes in the field of lithium-ion batteries alone. Yang Li, a professor at Shanghai Jiaotong University, analyzed that there are many technical routes in the field of lithium-ion batteries. From the perspective of positive and negative electrode materials and battery electrolytes of lithium-ion batteries, there are currently multiple technical routes at home and abroad. In his opinion, the diversification of technical routes is conducive to the highlighting of innovation.

In addition, the company is researching and testing fluorine-containing additives for lithium-ion battery electrolytes, which is expected to achieve good results.
