　　One possible solution is to shrink each material material by using nanoparticles. However, nanoparticles are very expensive and the production process is complicated. Therefore, scientists have been looking for alternative materials to circumvent this problem.

　　Currently, researchers at the University of Cambridge have identified a group of materials called "niobium tungsten oxides" through which lithium ions can move at ultra-high speeds, meaning that batteries can be charged quickly.

　　Kent Griffith, the first author of the study published in the journal Nature, said, "Niobium tungsten oxide is fundamentally different."
