　　After dry storage (without electrolyte) or wet storage (with electrolyte) for a certain period of time, the capacity of the battery will be reduced by itself, which is called self-discharge. The so-called "storage performance" refers to the size of self-discharge after storage for a certain time under certain conditions (such as temperature and humidity) when the battery is open.

　　During the storage period, although the battery does not emit electrical energy, there is always a self-discharge phenomenon inside the battery. Even if it is dry storage, it will enter water, air and carbon dioxide and other substances due to lax sealing, so that some of the positive and negative active substances in the thermodynamic unstable state constitute the corrosion mechanism of the micro-battery, which will spontaneously undergo REDOX reaction and be consumed in free. This is especially true if it is stored wet. The active substance in the electrolyte for a long time is also unstable. Most of the negative active substances are active metals, which will occur anodic autolysis. In acidic solutions, the negative metal is unstable, and in alkaline and neutral solutions, it is not very stable.
