　　California-based Enevate Corp. has received investment from Thai energy giant Bangchak for its EV battery fast charging technology. However, the two companies did not disclose the investment amount.

　　Robert A. Rango, CEO of Enevate, said: "With the growing demand for electric vehicles, consumers are increasingly demanding fast battery charging times. With this investment, Bangchak becomes an important partner in our mission."

　　Rango added: “We hope to see in the near future that drivers of electric vehicles can charge at a charging station for five minutes and be on the road again.”

　　Bangchak President and CEO Chaiwat Kovavisarach said: “We are committed to cultivating innovative technologies and supporting the continuous development of solutions to pursue environmental management and sustainability in our energy business, and our investment in Enevate is a reflection of this layout. Enevate is known for its innovative batteries, and its lithium batteries have 10 times the fast charging capacity of current conventional batteries."

　　It is understood that the HD-Energy lithium battery developed by Enevate for electric vehicles uses silicon as the main negative electrode material, which can achieve high-speed fast charging, increase energy density, extend the cruising range, and achieve superior low-temperature operation in extremely cold climates. performance, and has advantages in terms of cost, security, etc.
