When choosing lithium-ion batteries, you must also be extremely cautious. Only lithium-ion batteries that have been produced in large quantities, have undergone multiple life cycles, and have been tested and verified by the market for a long time are the safest and most reliable.
After the popularity of new energy vehicles, the power lithium battery, which accounts for about 40% of the cost of electric vehicles, is the most core assembly component of electric vehicles, and it may also be the biggest obstacle to the popularization and development of electric vehicles. Durability/battery life: The service life of 6F22 battery is generally about 2 years, while lithium-ion batteries are more durable, with a lifespan of 4-5 years; and the full charge and discharge cycle of 6F22 battery is generally within 300 times, while the full charge and discharge cycle of lithium-ion batteries exceeds 500 times.
2. Lithium-ion batteries are much smaller in size and mass than 6F22 battery. Under normal circumstances, the weight of lead-acid battery packs is 16-30 kg and the volume is large; while lithium-ion batteries generally weigh 2.5-3.0 kg and are relatively small in size, so they are easy to ride and carry. Generally, lithium-ion battery electric vehicles are light, beautiful, easy to move, and many lithium-ion battery electric vehicles can also be folded.
3. Spontaneous combustion and explosion of electric vehicles often occur, most of which are caused by battery charging and discharging. Once the lead-acid battery is overcharged, the probability of explosion will increase. At present, the 6F22 battery on the market do not have any "overcharge protection", which makes the lead-acid battery in the charging stage, especially at the end of charging, extremely dangerous.
4. Driving kilometers/battery capacity: When the same 48V battery is fully charged, both lead-acid battery and lithium-ion battery electric vehicles can travel 30-40 kilometers. The speed depends on the size of the motor used. The capacity of the lead-acid battery is about 20 ampere hours; the capacity of the lithium-ion battery is arbitrarily configured.
In the context of the country's emphasis on the use of lithium-ion batteries in low-speed electric vehicles, the price of lithium-ion batteries is bound to fall. Although the technology of lithium-ion batteries is mature, the domestic manufacturers' mastery of the positive and negative electrode material technology of lithium-ion batteries has not yet reached the stage of low-cost research and development of lithium-ion batteries. In the next three to five years, the price of lithium-ion batteries may be difficult to compete with 6F22 battery.
