The voltage and capacity of the lithium-ion battery pack have been determined when the battery is designed. The lithium-ion battery pack under the same voltage can be made into products with different capacities.
Voltage of the iron-lithium-ion battery pack
The nominal voltage of the LiFePO4 battery is 3.2V, the termination charge voltage is 3.6V, and the termination discharge voltage is 2.0V. Due to the different quality and process of the positive and negative electrode materials and electrolyte materials used by various manufacturers, there will be some differences in their performance.
Capacity of the iron-lithium-ion battery pack
The capacity of the lithium iron phosphate battery pack varies greatly and can be divided into three categories: small-sized zero-tenths to several milliampere-hours, medium-sized tens of milliampere-hours, and large-sized hundreds of milliampere-hours. The relationship between the voltage and capacity of the lithium-ion battery pack
Although there is no direct relationship between the two, there are other variables related to voltage and capacity, which make the two related, that is, the discharge platform of the lithium-ion battery pack.
When the battery pack is discharged, the voltage will gradually decrease with the loss of power, and has a large slope.
So sometimes the voltage can be used to estimate the remaining capacity of the battery. When the voltage is getting lower and lower, the remaining capacity in the lithium-ion battery pack may be almost gone.
However, this estimation method is still affected by many external factors and the estimation results are very different.
For example, for the same lithium-ion battery pack, when the remaining capacity is the same, the voltage value will change due to the size of the discharge current. The larger the discharge current, the higher the voltage of the battery pack; when there is no current, the voltage is not affected by the current, so the highest voltage will be displayed.
The ambient temperature also affects the voltage. The lower the temperature, the lower the voltage of the lithium-ion battery pack with the same capacity.
The cycle is important to have a significant impact on the discharge platform. As the cycle progresses, the discharge platform of the lithium-ion battery pack tends to deteriorate, and the voltage will continue to drop, which is also a major factor in reducing the power supply time of the lithium-ion battery pack.
Some operations during use will also cause voltage fluctuations and differences, making the capacity display of the lithium-ion battery pack abnormal.
For example, temporary high current consumption and the connection of a high-power load will cause the voltage of the lithium-ion battery pack to drop rapidly, and the displayed battery pack capacity will be reduced more than the actual capacity.
