  Korean scientists have developed a lifepo4 18650 battery that allows electric vehicles to travel 700 kilometers

This means that using 1 kilogram of aluminum, we can produce a battery that can enable an electric car to travel 700 kilometers."

  Compared with traditional aluminum-air batteries, the research team's aluminum-air battery has a discharge capacity that is 17 times higher. Similar to how other metal-air batteries operate, this battery generates electricity by reacting oxygen in the air with aluminum. Although aluminum-air batteries have one of the highest energy densities of all batteries, they are not widely used due to the high anode cost and by-products produced when using traditional electrolytes.

  To overcome this obstacle, researchers have developed a battery that mitigates side effects in battery cells in which electrolyte is continuously circulated. The researchers prepared silver nanoparticle seed manganese oxide silver nanosheet structures for oxygen reduction reactions. The battery's increased lifespan and energy density will help make more electric vehicles more popular, and vehicles equipped with the battery will have a longer range, be lighter, and won't explode.
