Liquid flow batteries, also known as redox liquid flow batteries, are a new type of large-scale electrochemical energy storage device. In 2013, the world's largest all vanadium flow battery energy storage system jointly developed by Dalian Rongke and Dalian Institute of Chemistry and Physics successfully passed the owner's acceptance. This is the world's first 5MW level large-scale industrial energy storage device that is actually connected to the grid, and all indicators are at the international leading level. In 2014, Dalian Rongke collaborated with Bosch Group to build an all vanadium flow battery energy storage system at a wind farm in northern Germany. In addition, Dalian Rongke also collaborated with UniEnergyTechnologies in the United States to build the first MW level all vanadium liquid flow energy storage battery power station in the United States.

Dali Electric has been focusing on the research and development of energy storage systems for all vanadium flow batteries for many years. As of now, the company has applied for 24 patents, authorized 17 invention patents, and established 7 company standards in the field of vanadium batteries.
