According to reports, this technology for manufacturing fluoride-ion batteries has appeared a long time ago, but the batteries produced by this technology must operate at a temperature of 300 degrees.
This time, a joint research and development team from four institutions found a way to allow this battery to operate at room temperature without overheating problems. Researchers say the new technology circumvents the temperature limitations of fluoride battery technology and opens up a path to high-energy-density batteries.
