The China State Intellectual Property Office recently announced a 18650 battery 3.7v 2000mah invention patent from Huawei. The patent describes a new negative active material for lithium-ion secondary batteries, which is a combination of the above two solutions. Huawei has introduced a high-energy-density silicon-based material system into battery materials, and through innovative technology of heteroatom-doped silicon-based materials, it provides a fast channel for the migration of lithium ions during the charging process, greatly increasing the battery's fast charging capability.
According to analysis by industry experts, the significance of Huawei's choice of silicon material in lithium-ion batteries is that its lithium insertion capacity is much higher than that of traditional graphite anodes. This means it can lock in more energy, increasing the energy density of lithium-ion batteries.
Nitrogen-doped carbon materials can be used to bind lithium-embedded expanded silicon materials. Nitrogen atoms and carbon atoms are combined in the form of pyridine nitrogen, graphitic nitrogen, and pyrrole nitrogen to form a stable three-dimensional carbon skeleton network, inhibiting high-capacity silicon material; in addition, nitrogen-doped carbon mesh can improve the overall conductivity of the silicon-containing material/nitrogen-doped carbon material composite material, add space and channels for physical rapid lithium storage, break through the limit of chemical lithium storage, and greatly improve battery charging. current limit.
If this hypothesis is true, then this patented technology is likely to be a new iteration of Honor Magic battery. This is also an improved version of the ultra-high-speed charging technology demonstrated by Huawei at the 56th Battery Symposium in Nagoya, Japan. Just as multi-touch technology changes the form of mobile phones, Huawei's ultra-high-speed charging technology will redefine the way people use smartphones and free users from "mobile phone power anxiety."
