　　The LISA project will be launched next year and is expected to break through the bottleneck of 18650 battery 3.7v 3500mah technology

　　According to overseas media reports, the Lithium Sulfur Battery for Safe Road Electrification (LISA) project will be launched on New Year's Day next year. The project lasted 43 months and involved more than 7.9 million euros (approximately US$8.98 million) in funds. It is composed of 13 European partners parties jointly participate. The overall goal of the project is to design and manufacture a lithium-sulfur battery to improve the safety of electrification applications for electric vehicles. This project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon2020 R&D Innovation Project.

　　LISA has improved the safety of high-energy-density lithium-sulfur batteries, and its solid non-flammable composite electrolytes (hybridsolidstatenon-flammableelectrolytes) have been verified in 20Ah-class batteries. LISA will solve the technical bottlenecks of lithium-sulfur batteries such as lithium metal protection, power and battery volume energy density (volumetric energy density), and is committed to reducing their costs, thereby reducing the cost of the entire electric vehicle. The project will assess the sustainability of the technology from an environmental and economic perspective.

　　LISA is positioned for the research and development of lithium metal protection and solid electrolytes, and integrates process concepts into future manufacturing lines. In addition, the project will start with new materials, components, cells and processes, and hopes to apply this technology to lithium-ion batteries and solid-state lithium batteries.
