The battery management system is called BatteryManagementSystem in English, or BMS for short. BMS is generally a subsystem of an overall system and is widely used in all aspects of industrial production. Its main function is to keep the battery in the best working condition and maximize battery life by monitoring and managing the battery; and Battery information is transmitted to relevant subsystems to provide a basis for overall system decision-making. New energy vehicle power battery BMS Among various BMS, new energy vehicle power battery BMS is unique. It must have the ability to monitor and adjust battery management status in real time, and can work in synchronization and coordination with multiple parallel subsystems. When a vehicle is actually driving, acceleration and deceleration are always alternating, so the BMS must be able to accept dynamic information feedback and constantly adjust its monitoring and management methods. Monitor the health status of each individual cell in the battery pack; balance the performance of each cell; ensure that all cells are within the rated working range Internal; protect the overall function of the battery pack to the maximum extent when the cells are overdrawn; provide access methods for charging individual cells. 2. Provide fault protection when the system loses control or loses contact; isolates the battery in emergency situations (such as overload, fire, etc.); and provides "emergency driving mode" when some battery cells fail. 3. Monitor the battery temperature, adjust the working status of the heat sink/heat insulator, and ensure that the battery runs at the optimal temperature. 4. Provide battery SOC information (charge level) and SOH information (health level) to the system and car owners; calculate the remaining mileage of the battery. 5. Provide the optimal charging process for the battery and set an appropriate charge-discharge ratio to prevent overcharging of the battery when recovering kinetic energy. 6. Reserve enough power for the load impedance test before starting the vehicle and implement staged charging to limit the occurrence of inrush current; 7. Adapt to changes in vehicle driving modes and adjust the battery management mode in real time. 8. Record battery usage and make usage history records. 9. Obtain and execute information and commands given by relevant subsystems.
