1. Increase reliability and availability.
Lithium battery manufacturers meet the application conditions of uninterrupted power supply, using improved battery design, high-quality materials, and better manufacturing methods. Lithium batteries are extremely rare in mission critical environments due to their long service life and low maintenance requirements.
In addition, all lithium-ion batteries come with a built-in battery management system (BMS) that provides fault monitoring, battery balancing, and power optimization functions for each battery unit. A battery management system helps to extend battery life and minimize downtime.
2. Long life.
The design life of lithium batteries is usually 8-10 years, which means that their service life is the same as that of small and medium-sized uninterruptible UPS backup power supply 48V100Ah. Lithium batteries have higher energy density and power density. They provide the same energy as lead-acid batteries, but are smaller in size and lighter in weight.
6. Higher temperature adaptation.
The design temperature of the uninterruptible UPS backup power supply 48V100Ah lithium battery is higher than that of lead-acid battery, so the impact of high temperature on the battery is relatively small. Most lithium-ion batteries can operate at a temperature of 30 ℃, nearly 10 ℃ higher than lead-acid batteries, without aging or shortening their lifespan. In this way, the room temperature of data centers or remote servers can be increased, and the use of cooling energy can reduce cooling costs.
7. Charge faster.
For architectural systems, lithium-ion batteries can usually be charged to 90% of their capacity in less than 2 hours, while valve regulated lead-acid batteries may take more than 4 hours to reach the same capacity, and it takes 24 hours to fully charge. If the data center experiences several consecutive power outages, lithium-ion batteries can be quickly charged, providing a backup UPS power supply of 48V100Ah for each outage.
