  Ultrapure water equipment in the battery industry includes ultrapure water for battery production, ultrapure water for lithium battery production, ultrapure water for solar cell production, pure water for dry battery production, etc.

  The electrolyte in the battery has very strict requirements for pure water. The conductivity of water is usually required to be above 0.1us/cm (resistivity is 10 megaohms). The traditional process for preparing ultrapure water for batteries often uses anion and cation resin. Exchange equipment, the disadvantage of this process is that the anode and cation resin needs to be regenerated frequently after being used for a period of time.

  As industrial membrane separation technology continues to mature, ultrapure water is often produced by reverse osmosis membrane water treatment technology in ultrapure water equipment in the battery industry. Let’s briefly introduce the process flow of ultrapure water equipment in the battery industry.

  The processes for preparing ultrapure water in the battery industry are roughly divided into the following types:

  1. Using ion exchange method, the process is as follows:

  Raw water → raw water pressure pump → multi-media filter → activated carbon filter → water softener → precision filter → cation resin filter bed → anion resin filter bed → anion and cation resin mixed bed → microporous filter → water point.

  2. Use the two-level reverse osmosis method. The process is as follows:

  Raw water → raw water pressure pump → multi-media filter → activated carbon filter → water softener → precision filter → first-level reverse osmosis → PH adjustment → intermediate water tank → second-level reverse osmosis (the surface of the reverse osmosis membrane is positively charged) → pure water Box → pure water pump → microporous filter → water point.

  3. Using EDI method, the process is as follows:

  Raw water → raw water pressure pump → multi-media filter → activated carbon filter → water softener → precision filter → first-level reverse osmosis machine → intermediate water tank → intermediate water pump → EDI system → microporous filter → water point.
