For loads that need to stop quickly, a larger braking resistor usage rate should be selected.

　　Reverse braking is a braking method that changes the phase sequence of the motor power supply so that the rotating magnetic field generated by the stator winding is opposite to the direction of rotation of the rotor, thereby generating braking torque. It should be noted that when the motor speed approaches zero, the power supply must be disconnected immediately, otherwise the motor will rotate in the opposite direction.

　　In addition, due to the large reverse braking current, a resistor needs to be added in series to the stator circuit during braking to limit the braking current. There are two ways to connect the reverse braking resistor: symmetrical resistance connection and asymmetrical resistance connection, as shown in the figure below.
